the purpose of this site is to have a place in the web where people and myself can view my pictures from all over the world. the photos are taken in the period from 1998 until 2002 in the area israel and east coast of sinai-peninsula.
i hope you like what you see and i can capture you for a short trip in the magic of the middleast with all its enchanting beauty, pure wilderness and it´s straight soul of people and land. this area is my object of interest because it´s so important! it´s the axis of the world politics at the moment, the powerpoint between the kapitalistic west and the traditiional east. it´s so rich in history and culture. actually this area are the roots of our modern civilization, the place where the wisdom of the ancient times was preserved over the times of middleage of europe, the "dark age" of inquisition, the plague, patriarchism and fire and the sword in the name of the christian church. the orient is a place where people still believe in god, honor, law of family and tribes.
for me it´s also a very beautiful area!
i love the striking pureness of nature, the pureness and passion in the hearts of the people, the very complex music, the tasty food and the spontanic daily life, not worrying about tomorrow...
